Chevy Selected Eight Tracks To Test The 2016 Camaro: Video

Chevrolet has apparently been hard at work making sure its 2016 Camaro (both the coupe and the convertible) is up to snuff. To accomplish this, engineers have taken the car on a trip around the globe. This wasn't merely for sightseeing purposes but rather to ring out the all-new car at places like, well, the 'Ring. In all, the General Motors Company [NYSE:GM] engineers trekked to eight different tracks and also went for a few all-out dashes down the Autobahn.

Chevy wants the Camaro to be a global hit, not just a fan icon here in the United States. To accomplish this, the new Camaro has dropped weight, increased efficiency, and added in Magnetic Ride Control as an option (on the V-8 models) for the first time ever.

Now, Chevy says it took the car all around the globe. We can figure out a number of the eight tracks on the side of the car, and most of them are located here in the States. We see Mid-Ohio, Road Atlanta, Spring Mountain, VIR, and Willow Springs. Of course, there's also the Nordshleife on there as well. Additionally, the extra symbol at the bottom most likely signifies the unrestricted portions of the Autobahn. That means we've figured out six of the eight tracks.
