The Harte and Garter Hotel, located across the street from Windsor Castle, already sold out for the royal wedding weekend, but Hello! magazine reported that rooms were going for $14,183 during the wedding weekend dates, with a minimum three-night stay.

British Tours created “Kate and William tours” that take guests to pivotal spots in the couple’s relationship — and they’re back for more with Harry and Markle are next up. Brand Finance estimated that of the 500 million pounds the royal wedding will bring in from tourism revenue, 10 percent would be from merchandise sales — which amounts to $69 million. The two biggest must-have items include commemorative mugs and tea towels, and high-end trays and plates, according to the New York Times.

The wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is expected to bring an additional $689 million to Britain’s economy with earnings from hotels, tourist attractions and merchandise — and that number is a conservative one if Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding was any indication.
The last royal wedding was originally estimated to attract a total of 4 million visitors over the long-term, earning Britain an additional $2.75 billion over the years, according to The Guardian.
