VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwired - Sept. 8, 2014) - Alphamin Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:AFM) ("Alphamin" or the "Company") is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Charles Needham as Chairman and Non-Executive Director and Mr Bruce Curling as CEO of Alphamin.

The Board is delighted to announce these appointments, both of which are strategically driven as the Company moves towards production.

Mr Needham is currently the Corporate Affairs Executive and a member of the Executive Committee of Metorex Limited ("Metorex"), which has mining operations in both the Democratic Republic of Congo ("DRC") and Zambia. In this role he has been responsible for corporate affairs and political relationships in both countries for the past 10 years. During this time Mr Needham has also built up both an extensive network and knowledge of operating in these countries particularly with respect to the interface with the Government Authorities.

Mr Curling is an experienced Project Director with over 20 years of successfully implementing projects with various mining Companies including Anglo American, GRD Minproc, Volcan Mining, Xstrata and most recently Uranium One. Mr Curling brings with him a wealth of financial and technical skills, in particular his construction, engineering and Project management skills, which will be invaluable as the Company moves towards production. It is envisaged that Mr Curling will assume full operational control of the Company within the next few months, which will see the Interim CEO, Mr Brendon Jones stepping down.
