CFTC orders Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce to pay $30 million -statement
(Reuters) - The Commodity Futures Trading Commission on Tuesday ordered the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce to pay $30 million for recordkeeping and supervision failures, the agency said in a statement.
The CFTC said it found that, from at least September 2018 to now, the bank failed to stop employees, including those at senior levels, from communicating using unapproved communication methods, including messages sent via personal text.
