CF Energy Received “Zero-Carbon Hotel” Demonstrative Project Status from The Investment Association of China

TORONTO, Aug. 05, 2022 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CF Energy Corp. (TSX-V: CFY) (“CF Energy” or the “Company”; together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”), a leading new energy service provider in the People’s Republic of China (the “PRC” or “China”) is pleased to announce that the Company’s Haitang Bay Integrated Smart Energy Project has been awarded as a “Zero-Carbon Hotel” Demonstrative Project in 2021 by the Energy Investment Committee of The Investment Association of China (“EICIAC”). EICIAC carefully evaluated 87 carbon-reduction projects being selected from the whole of China and issued one “Zero-Carbon” demonstrative project status in each of the ten categories. The final results of the ten “Zero-Carbon” demonstrative projects were announced at the Carbon Neutrality, Zero Carbon China Summit 2022, the 5th China International Energy Investment Forum.   EICIAC regarded the Haitang Bay Smart Energy Project as a reproducible and scalable “Zero-Carbon” hotel demonstrative project that can help promote the green and low-carbon development of energy in China.
