While the coronavirus pandemic saw unemployment figures rise in 2020, recruitment website Glassdoor has revealed the 50 best places in the UK to work and thrive in 2021.

Glassdoor’s Employees’ Choice Awards list is complied using feedback from employees who post anonymous company reviews on the website.

It takes into consideration, the advantages and disadvantages or working for certain firms, feedback on management styles and wages, as well as company culture and opportunities for growth.

Topping the list of 50 companies is US cloud-based software firm, Salesforce (CRM), which received a 4.5 rating out of 5 for a “friendly” company culture. According to a senior customer success manager at the firm, Salesforce “prioritises employees' wellbeing and development, not just revenue generation.”
