TerrAscend (CSE: TER) (OTCQX: TRSSF) has closed the acquisition of Ilera Healthcare, a permitted cannabis cultivator, processor, and dispensary operators in Pennsylvania. This acquisition expands the company’s licensed cannabis footprint to four U.S. states, in addition to its global reach into Canada and Europe.

Hemp Technology (OTCPK: CPOW) has signed an agreement to purchase Pettanicals Pet Treats, a Canadian-based nutritional pet supplement company. Hemp Technology plans to “utilize the well-established Pettanicals’ branded products to introduce cannabidiol (CBD) infused” nutritional pet health supplements, CEO Michael Shenher said in a statement.

Vireo Health International (CNSX: VREO) (OTCQX: VREOF) announced that its shares have received Depository Trust Company‘s full-service eligibility in the U.S. DTC eligibility permits Vireo’s shares to be distributed, settled and serviced through the company’s automated processes. DTC is a subsidiary of the Depository Trust & Clearing, which manages the electronic clearing and settlement of publicly-traded companies.

Former Florida Lieutenant Governor Carlos Lopez-Cantera has been named the president of the Hemp Industries Association of Florida (HIAF) a non-profit trade association supporting the commercialization of hemp in Florida. HIAF is the official state charter of the national Hemp Industries Association, which has been advocating for fair hemp legislation and cultivating a business-friendly hemp environment for 25 years.

Target Group (OTCQB: CBDY) said that its subsidiary CannaKorp has entered into an agreement with Nabis Holdings for the distribution of its Wisp Vaporizer and Wisp Pods in Arizona.
