(Reuters) - Canadian Justice Minister Peter MacKay said on Friday he was leaving federal politics and would not stand for reelection in October. MacKay, 49, who was previously defense minister and foreign affairs minister, said he wanted to spend more time with his family. He said Prime Minister Stephen Harper requested he remain justice minister until the election and that he agreed to do so. (Reporting by Jeffrey Hodgson; Editing by Chris Reese)
