Campbell Soup shares up slightly, Twitter shares down, and Mattel shares on the move up

Let’s check out the Yahoo Finance charts of the day.

Campbell Soup (CPB): Shares were up slightly in early-afternoon trading, at around .2%. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Third Point plans to replace Campbell Soup’s entire board after the fund was underwhelmed by the company’s plan to sell two business units.

Twitter (TWTR): Shares were down in early-afternoon trading, at nearly -1%. Twitter has permanently banned controversial conspiracy theorist Alex Jones off its platforms, Twitter and Periscope. The social media giant said it took this action based on new reports of tweets and videos posted that violate its abusive behavior policy, in addition to the accounts’ past violations.

Mattel (MAT): Shares were up in early afternoon trading, over 2%. Mattel is turning to Hollywood in an effort to bring new life into its roster of iconic characters. The owner of Fisher-Price and Hot Wheels is launching a film division to produce features based on its popular toys like Barbie, Hot Wheels and other brands.
