Calyxt: Q4 Earnings Snapshot

ROSEVILLE, Minn. (AP) _ Calyxt Inc. (CLXT) on Thursday reported a loss of $13.4 million in its fourth quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Roseville, Minnesota-based company said it had a loss of 37 cents. Losses, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 33 cents per share.

The genetically modified food company posted revenue of $13.9 million in the period.

For the year, the company reported that its loss widened to $44.8 million, or $1.32 per share. Revenue was reported as $23.9 million.

Calyxt shares have more than doubled since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $8.93, a rise of 36% in the last 12 months.
