Calgary airport donates luggage carts to Brandon

Travellers rolling through the airport in Brandon could be using luggage carts from Calgary.

The Calgary Airport Authority has donated 55 luggage carts to the Brandon Municipal Airport.

"Our airport's current expansion is being undertaken to improve passenger flow and increase traveller comfort, and the fact that the Calgary Airport Authority has been able to assist our efforts with the donation of luggage carts is greatly appreciated," Carla Richardson, City of Brandon director of Transportation Services, said in a release.

Some of the carts are already being used during the airport terminal's expansion.

Richardson added the airport expansion and redevelopment project is one-third complete. The project is expected to be finished next January.
