Burnley vs Arsenal - LIVE!

Arsenal were forced to settle for a 1-1 draw after an eventful lunchtime kick-off at Turf Moor.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang continued his recent return to form with an early opener and but Arsenal failed to take advantage of their first-half dominance and a mistake by Granit Xhaka gifted Chris Wood an equaliser before the break.

The game came alive again late on as Burnley substituted Erik Pieters was fortunate not to give away a penalty after appearing to handball when closing down Nicolas Pepe.

However, the full-back was the hero soon after as he made a brilliant block to deflect Pepe’s volley onto the bar - though he needed a VAR reprieve to prove it, with the referee initially sending him off and awarding a penalty for handball when the ball had actually struck his shoulder.
