Shares of WFM closed down 7.21% on Thursday with about 25.8 million shares traded. The stock was one of the biggest decliners on the NASDAQ. The company announced a new partnership with Square, a digital payments processor. Square first entered the public spotlight in 2012 when it inked a deal with Starbucks and rolled out its Square mobile payments system in 7,000 Starbucks locations throughout the United States. The company also reported same-store sales at its oldest stores grew at the slowest pace in at least two years. Whole Foods said it expected revenues to grow between 11 and 12 per cent in fiscal 2014, below earlier guidance of growth of as much as 13 per cent. Whole Foods forecast earnings would rise 7 to 12 per cent, less than the 12 to 15 per cent advance previously forecast.

Staples Inc. closed down a modest 0.98% on Thursday with about 6.5 million shares traded. The company was one of the most active stocks on the NASDAQ. Last month the company announced that Joe Doody, President North American Commercial, has been named Vice Chairman, and Shira Goodman, Executive Vice President, Global Growth, has been named President, North American Commercial. Both Doody and Goodman will continue to report to Ron Sargent, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.

On February 10, 2014, Eco Building Products, Inc. entered into a second amendment to supplement the terms in the most recent Supplier Buying Agreement dated November 4, 2014 (the "Supplier Agreement") with The Home Depot, a Delaware corporation ("Home Depot").
