Yahoo Finance Britney Spears’s Husband Gave Her a Special Surprise on Her Birthday
Earlier this weekend, Britney Spears celebrated her 41st birthday, and she woke up to quite a surprise courtesy of her husband, Sam Asghari, 28.
Following their marriage this past June, Asghari wanted to make his wife's birthday a special one, and he documented his gift on Instagram, writing, “Happy 1st Birthday to my Wife @britneyspears the only day I eat cake is today [heart emoji].”
Asghari shared a clip of the setup he created, and he narrated the video, revealing that his original plan for Spears's birthday did not come to fruition.
“Today's your girl's birthday,” he says. “You've been together for a few years, you're starting to run out of ideas. You had some outdoor activities planned, but today is the only day it rains in California.”
However, Asghari still found a way to craft something romantic. In the end, the fitness trainer ended up covering their stairwell in balloons, covering their dining table in rose petals, lighting candles around the house and more.

In a video that's since been deleted, Spears showed her reaction to the birthday treat, and she captioned the clip, “My husband surprised me!!! I'm sick with the flu and he came downstairs…he was pretty f***ing smooth!!!! I love you!!!! It's Mr. and Mrs. Asghari!!!”
The video showed Asghari singing to Spears as she came into the room that was full of celebratory decorations. And in the comments section of the video, Asghari showed his love as well.

Spears and Asghari have been together since 2016, and they tied the knot in June 2022, where they were surrounded by their closest family and friends. Now, the pair live together in a home in Los Angeles.
