BlackRock (BLK) Dips More Than Broader Markets: What You Should Know

BlackRock (BLK) closed at $676.49 in the latest trading session, marking a -0.79% move from the prior day. This move lagged the S&P 500's daily loss of 0.2%. At the same time, the Dow lost 0.59%, and the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 1.54%.

Coming into today, shares of the investment firm had gained 5.8% in the past month. In that same time, the Finance sector gained 2.29%, while the S&P 500 gained 4.14%.

Wall Street will be looking for positivity from BlackRock as it approaches its next earnings report date. The company is expected to report EPS of $8.52, up 15.76% from the prior-year quarter.
