The Jakarta Futures Exchange (JFX), the futures and derivatives exchange group in Indonesia, has decided to work with Kinesis Money and Allocated Bullion Exchange (ABX) to develop an Indonesian-based and regulated blockchain exchange using Kinesis technology. The partnership is part of JFX’s future intention to create blockchain-based solutions in addition to existing infrastructure, allowing investors alternatives, in which to benefit from an increased ease, speed and security of transactions, JFX said in a press statement.

Scoota, a digital marketing technology firm that allows advertisers to create and optimize brand campaigns, has selected Ternio as its preferred blockchain partner to facilitate transparency within its programmatic ad campaigns. Ternio is a blockchain company that uses its blockchain technology called Lexicon to bring transparency to programmatic digital advertising. The partnership will “enable Scoota to be one of the first ad buying platforms to offer Ternio’s blockchain technology for programmatic advertising campaigns,” Scoota said in a press release.

KPMG LLP is forming a partnership with the Blockchain in Transport Alliance (BiTA) to help develop blockchain standards for the transportation industry. “Even with major advances in technology, transport logistics remain expensive and vulnerable. Blockchain has the potential to solve these issues and disrupt many of the systems that freight organizations have relied upon for decades, while creating greater transparency, speed, reliability and trust within organizations’ core operations, including their supply chain,” KPMG’s U.S. Blockchain Leader Arun Ghosh said in a press statement.

MUFG Bank, the principal banking unit of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, has decided to collaborate with Banco Bradesco S.A. on creating a new cross-border payment service between Japan and Brazil using Ripple (XRP). The new payment system will assist the banks as they work toward commercializing a high-speed, transparent and traceable cross-border payments solution between Japan and Brazil, according to a press statement issued by MUFG Bank.
