Arsenal are hopeful that both Kieran Tierney and Gabriel Martinelli can shake off injuries to face Newcastle United in the Premier League on Monday.

The duo missed the Gunners’ drab draw with Crystal Palace on Thursday, where Mikel Arteta’s side once again struggled to break down their opponent.

Newcastle have been in worse form of late, and they followed up their FA Cup defeat with a loss to bottom of the table Sheffield United.
