Arsenal have received a double injury boost with Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe fit for their key Europa League clash with Slavia Prague - but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Martin Odegaard remain doubts.

The Gunners take on Slavia on Thursday night in the second leg of their quarter-final tie and go into the match trailing on away goals after drawing 1-1 at Emirates Stadium last week.

Arsenal had a number of fitness concerns ahead of the tie, but their fears have been eased slightly now.

Saka - who limped off during Sunday’s win at Sheffield United with a thigh issue - is back in full training and fit to start.

The same goes for Smith Rowe, who sprained his ankle during the first leg against Slavia last week.

Arsenal are, however, still sweating over the fitness of captain Aubameyang and playmaker Odegaard.

Aubameyang was ill last week and missed Sunday’s win at Bramall Lane. Arsenal say he is still being assessed ahead of Thursday’s trip to Prague.

Odegaard also faces a race against time to be fit, with the Norwegian experiencing discomfort in his right ankle since suffering a knock on international duty.

He has not played since the defeat to Liverpool on April 3.

Asked if Aubameyang and Odegaard would train on Wednesday, manager Mikel Arteta told a pre-match press conference: “Depending how they wake up. If they wake up better, yes.

“Yesterday none of them could train. Hopefully today it’s a sunnier day so maybe it’s better.”
