From surveillance technology to humidity monitoring, there are many facets to the integrated art security program.

To best protect the artworks and the venue, the production is pleased to announce they have contracted Mr. David Lemanowicz as a special security consultant for the public exhibit, which will show nearly 100 works, both prints and paintings, from the world's most sought-after American artist, as well as personal Polaroids form the Warhol Foundation's collection.

Since retiring from professional athletics in 2007, David Lemanowicz has become a physical, personnel and information security specialist. He has worked as a Special Agent for the United States Air Force (USAF) and served as an intelligence officer for the United States Army.

Some of his experience includes:

Conducting federal criminal investigations; conducting anti-terrorism and force protection operations, mitigating insider threats; conducting executive protection for cabinet ministers and secretaries of defense; liaison with all levels of law enforcement; threat, vulnerability and risk assessments; site surveys, route surveys and protective threat assessments.

While deployed to Kyrgyzstan and Afghanistan, David successfully conducted counter-threat and force protection operations and led a large USAF security element into the mountains of Kyrgyzstan to secure a crash site involving the tragic loss of a large US military aircraft and US military personnel. As Director of Personnel Security for one of the largest Data Centers in the United States, David successfully implemented the organizations first data classification program thus securing sensitive documentation and data stored on computers, servers and networks. David also specialized in conducting due diligence on prospective employees with sensitive access and third-party vendors throughout the supply chain. David Lemanowicz is a Vancouver native and currently resides in Phoenix, Arizona.

We are excited to add Mr. David Lemanowicz to our team, and continue to work with our local sponsors, including Legacy Senior Living, LIVINGSPACE, Allsay, Paulson Designed Solutions, Kris Pope Personal Real Estate Corporation, and our national media sponsor, Market One Media Group (MMG).

About The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts

The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts was established in 1987. In accordance with Andy Warhol's will, its mission is the advancement of the visual arts. The primary focus of the Foundation's grant-making activity has been to support the creation, presentation, and documentation of contemporary visual arts, particularly work that is experimental, under-recognized, or challenging in nature. The program has been both pro-active in its approach to the field of cultural philanthropy and responsive to the changing needs of artists. A strong commitment to freedom of artistic expression continues to inform the Foundation's support of organizations that fight censorship, protect artists' rights, and defend their access to evolving technologies in the digital age.

Through cooperative exhibitions, loans and permanent placement of work in museums nationwide, the Foundation has ensured that the many facets of Warhol's complex oeuvre are both widely accessible and properly cared for. In helping to establish the comprehensive collection and study center of The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh, the Foundation paved the way for new Warhol scholarship and curatorial innovation. The Foundation's sustained support and oversight of thoroughly researched, extensively illustrated catalogues raisonnés of Warhol's entire artistic output continues to expand the possibilities for scholarship about his work.
