Amazon Prime Day – one of the biggest shopping events of the year – is here, which means you’ve got two days to grab yourself a serious bargain.
The shopping bonanza is best-known for slashing prices on items from sought-after brands with many of the best deals to be found on Amazon devices, home appliances, fashion, toys, booze, games consoles and more.
However, there are also huge savings to be had across the latest crop of TVs, so if you’ve been pondering your current setup, there’s no better time to invest.
TVs are traditionally among the most popular items sold during the sales, with big discounts on those made by the likes of Samsung, LG and Sony. But, you’ll need to be quick as the best deals are likely to sell out fast.

Samsung’s 4K QLED TV is one of the best-spec mid-range TVs on offer right now. The TV runs on a quantum 4K processor, so it’s great for gaming, albeit a little slower than the flagship Samsung Q90T telly in 2020. It also comes with six built-in speakers, meaning you should get some neat “object-tracking” sound. You can save £76 on this model right now.
Samsung 2020 50in TU7020 TV: Was £429, now £399, Amazon.co.uk
This entry-level Samsung TV comes equipped with the brand’s 4K upscaling technology and is powered by its “crystal” processor. The HDR10+ means that you should get bright and vivid colours – a great bonus for the small price tag – plus you can get your fix of Netflix, iPlayer and live TV all from the same hub. The other TV sizes are also reduced.

We are big fans of the Sony bravia line-up of smart TVs.
