Amazon goes to court, Ohio has a deal for Jeep and Warner Bros teams with Lego

All three major stock indices are higher today, but still can't seem to break out of the trading range they've been in all year. "I think we will probably be range bound until some point during earnings season," says Peter Costa of Empire Executions. "Today is just a traders bounce, basically trading around small news items."

Here a some of the other stories Yahoo Finance is keeping an eye on today.

Two big tech stories
First, Facebook (FB) is making a move that could transform online advertising. The social media giant filing for a patent to create an ad exchange that would use Facebook information to help advertisers target potential customers.

Next, Amazon (AMZN) is going to court, charging four websites with making money by putting fake product reviews on Amazon's site. Amazon claims the reviews deceive customers and hurt sellers who aren't party to them. The owner of one of the companies being sued denied the accusations, telling the Seattle Times his site provides unbiased and honest reviews.

Ohio incentives for Jeep
Ohio may have a unique way to keep a key business in the state. The Wall Street Journal reports the state is in talks to help Fiat Chrysler (FCAU) build a new Jeep Wrangler factory in Toledo. The plan calls for using taxpayer funds which Fiat Chrysler would pay back in a "lease to buy" arrangement.

Warner teams with Lego
In the latest hookup between Hollywood and toys, Warner Brothers (TWX) and Lego are teaming up to offer toys and video games featuring characters from movies, including the Lego movie franchise.
