I am *this* close to copying Paris Jackson's new turquoise highlights

Look, there was no way that queen of edge Paris Jackson was going to come out of 2021 without either a mullet or brightly coloured hair. Those are the rules, apparently.

Everyone's been on the hair transformation hype, from Miley with her constantly evolving mullet to Cardi B, who has practically tried every colour and cut under the sun this past year or so. And let's not get onto the Kardashian-Jenners or I'll be here all week.

In fairness, Billie Eilish actually subverted the trend, going from slime-green mullet to platinum feathery layers... but somehow still looked edgy as heck?

Anyway, Paris is surfing the wave in her own way - she just posted a Story to Instagram featuring an all-new hair transformation, and lemme tell ya - I'm obsessed already.
Watch: ‘Britain’s oldest hairdresser’ is still chopping away aged 91

Her dirty blonde hair now features super cool teal-turquoise peekaboo highlights, adding a grunginess to her already gorgeous mane.

Paris paired the new hair look with a band tee, ripped brown tights, a knitted cardigan and daisy duke shorts and placed a huge pear emoji over her face for the picture. And, to be honest, I'm absolutely obsessed with the entire aesthetic.

Side-note: after Billie binned off her green hair I was under the impression that the shade would be cancelled until future notice, but more and more celebrities are opting for the shade.

Even Rihanna gave it a go this month for her Vogie Italy shoot (and looked absolutely groundbreaking in the process, I should add...)

Anyway, you can check out Paris's transformation below (warning, you will experience sudden urges to buy hair dye and DIY it).
