Alexis Denisof and Alyson Hannigan’s New Roles? House Flippers!

Between them, Alexis Denisof and Alyson Hannigan and have a history of sharing roles on the small screen, whether it’s as Watcher Wesley Wyndam-Pryce and superwitch Willow Rosenberg in the Buffyverse or as newscaster Sandy Rivers and kindergarten teacher Lily Aldrin on “How I Met Your Mother.” Now they’re adding a new role to their offscreen résumé: house flippers.
They put a 4,200-square foot Spanish-style bungalow in Santa Monica up for rent earlier this month, but their next act is even bigger.
After buying this 5,864-square-foot property in the Brentwood Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles last year, the couple brought the traditional-style home back from the dead—or at least back on the market. The classic 1930s New England Traditional is already in a great location, so all the two had to do was make some largely cosmetic improvements, like upgrading the chef’s kitchen.

However, the couple remained true to the timeless feel of the home, which features beautiful details including crown molding, vaulted beamed ceilings, and wood flooring.
There’s room for a whole Scooby Gang in the house’s three bedrooms and four baths, and the one-bedroom, two-bath guesthouse.
Meanwhile, the actors didn’t skimp on the contemporary amenities. Work in your pajamas in the property’s modern home office, work out from the comfort of your home in the private gym, and unwind after a long day in the adjoining pool and spa.

If the duo manage to sell the house for the $8.8 million asking price, after buying it last year for $7.89 million, it might be proof they need to share the small screen once more. For HGTV.
They’ve already got the chemistry and screen presence, so perhaps their next TV venture can put them alongside couples like Chip and Joanna Gaines of “Fixer Upper” or Tarek and Christina El Moussa of “Flip or Flop.” We’d watch!
