Airbus says it has A350 repair solution, to resume Qatar deliveries

PARIS, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Airbus said on Wednesday it was putting forward a repair solution for damage brought to light in a dispute with Qatar Airways and would work with the carrier and regulators on the best way to restore 30 grounded A350 jets to the air.

The planemaker also said it would re-instate all orders it had revoked as part of the dispute, resolved on Wednesday, but that the first of 50 A321neos would now be delivered in 2026, three years later than the airline had said it was scheduled.

The first of 23 undelivered A350s will be delivered this year, a spokesperson added.

Qatar Airways was not immediately available for comment. (Reporting by Tim Hepher Editing by Chris Reese)
