Adele just jokingly threw some shade at Ed Sheeran over their album release dates, and honestly, is there anything more Adele?
The 33-year-old singer is back with her new single 'Easy On Me', ahead of her album release 30 next month. To celebrate, she's been doing everything from Instagram Lives to revealing profiles and radio interviews.
In a recent chat, Adele spoke to Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden on Heart Breakfast about her album's release date, and the fact a certain other singer has a new record out around the same time.

"I mentioned the album is coming out 19th of November, Ed Sheeran’s got an album coming out the same time. Do you look at him as competition?" Jamie asked Adele.
She replied, "[His is] on the 19th?" to which Jamie replied, "Well not the 19th , no. Don’t panic!"
Adele joked back, "Oh. Haha I ain’t panic! I ain’t panicking. He should panic! [sic]"
She then added, "I love Ed, I love Ed and I really love his wife Cherry." That is the kind of confidence we love to see. Ed's fourth album, =, is due to be released on 29 October 2021, three weeks before 30 drops.
In her recent Vogue profile, Adele explained the song 'Easy On Me' was about her divorce from Simon Konecki, and how she hopes to explain the family break down to her 9-year-old son, Angelo.
"It’s not like anyone’s having a go at me,” she said. "But it’s like, I left the marriage. Be kind to me as well. It was the first song I wrote for the album and then I didn’t write anything else for six months after because I was like, ‘OK, well, I’ve said it all.'"
