AACR Approves Helix BioPharma Corp's Poster for Presentation at the International Cancer Immunotherapy Conference

Urease-Mediated Alkalization of Tumor Microenvironment and Its Effects on T Cell Proliferation, Cytokine Release and PD-1/PD-L1 Interactions

AURORA, ON--(Marketwired - July 26, 2016) - Helix BioPharma Corp. (TSX: HBP) (FRANKFURT: HBP) ("Helix" or the "Company"), a clinical stage immuno-oncology company developing innovative drug candidates for the prevention and treatment of cancer, is pleased to announce that the Company's poster entitled: Urease-mediated alkalization of tumor microenvironment and its effects on T cell proliferation, cytokine release and PD-1/PD-L1 interactions, has been accepted for presentation at the Second CRI-CIMT-EATI-AACR International Cancer Immunotherapy Conference: Translating Science into Survival. The conference is being held in New York City on September 25th and 26th, 2016 at the Hilton Midtown-Grand America. The presentation will be given on September 25th at 5:00pm. A copy of the presentation will be available on the Company's website on the date of the presentation.
