‘A Fortress Of Pillows’: Bored Businessman Makes Hilarious Requests To Hotel Staff

A travelling businessman has found a unique way to entertain himself during frequent stays in hotels – by making increasingly ridiculous additional requests.

Asked if there is anything else he would like, the unnamed businessman has replied with requests such as a bedside picture of Christopher Walken or a fortress made of pillows.

Hilariously, diligent hotel staff oblige him every time.

Imgur user Jnut731 posted pictures on the image-sharing website, with the caption: “Ridiculous and hilarious hotel requests, fulfilled. One way my friend entertains himself while travelling on business.”

Included are pictures of the request – and of the results.

In one, he writes: “Please provide a picture of a dog dressed as a boat captain and place on my bed, thank you.”

Another said: “If you could please draw a picture of what you think I look like and put it on my bed I would appreciate it.”

On both occasions staff fulfilled his wishes: once with a framed hand-draw sketch of the man – or at least their attempt at his likeness – and one picture of a Dachshund in a sailors uniform.

The post has more than 800,000 views.

In the comments below a few users questioned whether or not the images were faked. However, some hotel workers recalled similar requests.

One user wrote: “Seriously, awesome service. I worked front desk at a full service Marriott and got to do this a few times. It made my day when I did.”

Another added: “As someone who works at a hotel and has printed pictures of ‘a young Justin Timberlake, The Hoff and a cute white puppy in a basket’, I lol.”
