5 Stores Where You Can Always Get Deals

Old Navy Outlet

A couple of months ago, I shared five stores where one should never pay full price because of the proliferation of coupons that are usually offered by those retailers. Those stores included J.Crew, Ann Taylor, The Body Shop, Kohl's and the Gap.

While I truly believe there is no reason one should ever pay full price at those stores, those five are just the beginning. Today, we're back with five more stores where you should never pay full price because sales and discounts are frequently offered.

1. Bed Bath & Beyond

Before online shopping, along with frequent online coupons and promotions, became a thing, there was Bed Bath & Beyond, steadily sending out new coupons each month. I rarely heard from any other stores, but my Bed Bath & Beyond coupons still arrived like clockwork.

If you are no longer receiving Bed Bath & Beyond coupons, you can go online and request that they be sent to your door again. The traditional coupon is usually for 20 percent off any one product, so you might need to plan multiple visits if you are purchasing many items.

Fun tip: Bed Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby coupons are interchangeable. If you have a coupon for one of these stores, it can be used at either!

2. Express

I am well past my days of frequenting Express, but this was my go-to store when I was a poor college student a decade ago because even back, then the sales were amazing! I fondly remember a "buy one, get one free" sweater sale that filled my wardrobe with enough sweaters to get me through three brutal Michigan winters.

The years have passed, but one thing has remained the same: Express still has incredible sales where you can frequently save 40 to 50 percent on everything in the store. Coupons usually aren't needed for in-store purchases, but online coupons are frequently available. Express will even occasionally offer an extra 30 to 40 percent off clearance items!

3. Bath and Body Works

Like Bed Bath and Beyond, Bath and Body Works is another store that frequently offers sales and discounts. It seems like half of this store is always on sale! If the products you want don't happen to be on sale when you're there, return a few days later, and there is a good chance they will be.

Here's a tip if you frequent Bath and Body Works: Be sure to like the store's Facebook page because it frequently features not just coupons, but free coupons! The coupons are normally only valid for two to three days and sometimes you will have to make a small purchase ($10 or less), but occasionally the coupons are for completely free products!

4. Old Navy

If I had to guess, I would say that nearly half of my wardrobe was purchased at Old Navy. It can be hard to resist their cute styles, low prices and frequent sales!

Like most of the other Gap brands, the promotions at Old Navy are plentiful. A new coupon is made available for the online store on a near daily basis, while those preferring to shop at a brick and mortar location will find frequent sales. The in-store clearance sections are filled with items marked down to only a fraction of their original retail price, and since turnaround occurs so quickly it can sometimes be only a matter of weeks before items make their way to the discount racks.

One of the best promotions of the year occurs at Old Navy each summer, and that is their $1 flip flop sale. It is a hectic sale but if you do not mind the crowds it is one of the best opportunities to pick up flip flops for the entire family for just a buck! (This year's $1 flip flop sale has been confirmed for June 28, 2014.)

5. Macy's

I cannot be the only person who thinks that Macy's has a Friends and Family Sale or Red Card Sale every weekend, right? As far as major mid-range box stores go, Macy's offers more promotions than most of their competitors combined! The Macy's ad almost always features a coupon for an extra 10-20 percent off your entire purchase, and this is a store that also features frequent sales.

While I don't shop at Macy's for myself very often, I do find myself picking up wedding gifts from the store a couple of times of year. Thanks to the frequent coupons and sales, I have never paid anywhere near full price for any of the wedding gifts I have purchased!

My main recommendation if you are heading out to any of these stores is to browse their ads and then check out their Facebook pages to see what promotions are available. More likely than not, each of these stores will likely be offering a major promotion or a coupon on any given day.
