A few like Pisqueya, Tia Lupita and Humble House are Latinx-owned and born from a family recipe or passion. The others are just too good to miss out on. Take a look below at these unique hot sauces and learn more in the video above.

Pisqueya’s sauces come from passed-down Dominican family recipes. But the brand started out of Brooklyn, N.Y., by Maritza Abreu, who’s working to keep her family tradition alive. Pisqueya makes three different flavors: smoky hot, medium buzz and spicy sweet. You can find them on the brand’s website or shop all three on Amazon.

2. Tia Lupita Variety Pack, 4 Bottles, $31.99

According to Tia Lupita’s website, Hector Saldivar grew up in Mexico enjoying his mother’s sauces. Even when he moved to the states, she bottled the sauces to send them his way. Word got around how good the sauces were, so with her permission, Saldivar started selling his mother’s sauce. Named after her, Tia Lupita now makes salsa verde, chipotle, hot sauce and habanero sauce in addition to cactus chips and tortillas.

3. Humble House Variety Pack, 3 Bottles, $28.88

Humble House is the product of two high school sweethearts, Luis and Marsha Morales, who used their college savings to start their brand. Humble House focuses on using all-organic, gluten-free and good-for-you ingredients. One of their standout sauces, the Guajillo and Red Jalapeño Tangy Garlic Hot Sauce, is a mild, tangy garlic hot sauce.

4. Mike’s Hot Honey, $9.99

Mike’s Hot Honey is simply honey infused with chili peppers, but its flavor is complex, sweet, spicy and tastes great with savory dishes. While working at a Brooklyn pizzeria, founder Mike Kurtz started drizzling his signature spicy honey on pizza. Soon, customers started asking if they could buy bottles of the honey to take home — and their dreams came true. Now you can find the honey on restaurant menus, at grocery stores and on Amazon.

5. Hotter White TRUFF Hot Sauce, $34.99

White truffles have a less intense flavor than black truffles, and TRUFF’s White Hot Sauce is silky smooth. However, the brand now makes a hotter, spicier version of its white truffle-infused hot sauce for those who like a little more heat. Try it with potatoes, chicken wings, sandwiches and more.
