A new, lighter-weight, 1.5-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine that runs on regular unleaded fuel collaborates with 2 electric motors powered by an 18.4-kWh Lithium-ion battery to achieve better acceleration than the prior Volt, the automaker says. The new Volt can push 0-60 mph in 8.4 seconds, Chevy claims.

Forward-collision alert and automated headlights are part of the Confidence Package II. Chevrolet also offers Comfort packages for the LT that include heated seats and steering wheel.
