Yahoo Finance 30 World Debuts Confirmed For 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show
In 1907, the first ever Los Angeles Auto Show took place at a skate arena where only 99 cars were shown. Since then, the show has grown to become one of the premier events on the automotive calendar, both for the industry and the thousands of fans that turn up each year to see all the new models and concepts.
Today, the show is held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and reflecting its importance the organizers have confirmed there will be at least 30 world debuts taking place at this year’s show, which opens its doors to the media on November 18 and runs for two weeks.
Two confirmed vehicles are the 2017 Hyundai Elantra (teaser shown above) and 2017 Infiniti QX30. Jaguar’s new F-Pace and Kia’s latest Sportage will also be appearing, though both vehicles will make their debut on September 15 at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
The rest remain a secret but from the list of automakers with confirmed debuts we can already guess some of the cars appearing for the first time. Possibilities include the new Fiat 124 Spider, Mazda CX-9, Mercedes-Benz GLS, and Volvo S90. According to the organizers, the debut categories range from luxury SUVs and flagship sedans to new compacts.
