2007-2008 Hyundai Azera recalled for electrical problem
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports that Hyundai will recall nearly 10,000 Azera vehicles to fix a problem with their power-adjustable driver's seats.
The problem stems from a dodgy switch supplied by Duck Il Industries in South Korea. During the manufacturing process, those switches may have been exposed to moisture and other contaminants, and that in turn can short-circuit the switches' electrical connections. As a result, NHTSA says that the driver's seat "may intermittently not operate, or move forward, rearward, up, down, or recline without driver input."

That could cause a serious distraction for drivers and increase the possibility of an accident.
The recall is limited to 2007-2008 Azera vehicles built between March 7, 2007 and August 14, 2007. Approximately 9,700 of those vehicles are registered in the U.S.
By October 28, Hyundai plans to mail recall notices to owners of affected vehicles, instructing them to take their Azeras to their local Hyundai dealerships for service. Dealers will replace the power-adjustable seat switch at no charge. (If you've already had this done, Hyundai will reimburse you if you can provide the necessary documentation.)
