13 Jobs That Brought in the Biggest Raises This Year

If you want to make good money, it helps to know the skill of computer coding.

If tech is not your forte, or you don’t have time to learn a new skill, you might want to consider one of the following jobs. They come with decent pay — at least $45,000 a year — and saw the highest pay bumps over the past year, according to a new report from Glassdoor.

Specifically, the jobs and recruiting website found that median base pay for these top 13 jobs increased by 5 percent to 11 percent over the past year. That’s compared with a national average wage and salary increase of 2.5 percent over a 12-month period, according to the latest data from the U.S. Department of Labor.

While the growing fields of tech and health care are represented by several jobs on Glassdoor’s list, you will also find a variety of other jobs, from sales manager to communications manager.

More good news: Not only do most of these jobs not require complex tech skills, a couple of them don’t even require a bachelor’s degree. Take certified nursing assistants, for example. They don’t need a college degree but instead must enroll in an accredited CNA program to earn their credentials.
