Pokémon Go-style augmented reality Harry Potter Wizards game from Niantic poised to be a mega-hit

Niantic, the gaming company behind Pokémon Go and Harry Potter: Wizards Unite, started inside of Google. Its augmented reality and geolocation technology has resulted in billions of dollars in revenue, and hundreds of millions of users getting up off the couch. Out of nowhere in July 2016, Pokémon Go became perhaps the most unique, if not the biggest-ever, hit in mobile gaming, eventually hitting 600 million total downloads and bringing in more than $2.5 billion in revenue.
