Treasury yields hold steady as investors conclude wild year
Treasury yields were little changed on Monday as investors concluded a wild 2018. Treasury yields had a volatile year as investors around the world struggled with tighter monetary policy, fears of an economic slowdown and an ongoing U.S.-China trade war. The 10-year yield traded as high as 3.26 percent in 2018, its highest level since 2011, as the Fed raised rates this year and started paring down its massive balance sheet.
