| The investment seeks long term capital appreciation. The fund invests principally in equity securities of small-capitalization companies that believed present attractive opportunities but have not been widely recognized by investment analyst or the financial press. Small-capitalization companies are defined as companies whose market capitalization is substantially similar to that of companies in the Russell 2500 index. It normally invests at least 80% of assets in securities of small capitalization companies and up to 25% of total assets in foreign securities. |
