| The investment seeks to capital appreciation The fund invests at least 80% of assets in equity securities of U.S. companies with small market capitalizations. It invests assets in a diversified portfolio of equity securities including common stocks, preferred stocks and other domestically traded securities of foreign issuers which may constitute up to 20% of assets.
