| The investment seeks high current income; capital appreciation is a secondary objective. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in a broad range of high yield, high risk debt securities rated below the top four long-term rating categories by a nationally recognized statistical rating organization. It may invest up to 25% of assets in MBSs, including mortgage pass-through securities, collateralized mortgage obligations and senior loans, 15% in "asset-backed securities". The fund expects to maintain a dollar-weighted maturity of three to 15 years. |
