| The investment seeks long-term growth of capital. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in U.S. common stocks of companies with market capitalizations within the range of companies included in the Russell 1000 Growth index. It holds between 60 to 200 stocks and maintains an investment portfolio that has a price-to-earnings ratio and yield that is comparable to the Russell 1000 Growth index. The fund invests in companies with strong fundamentals, increasing sales and earnings, maintaining a conservative balance sheet and reasonable expectations of continued earnings increases. |
