The fund normally invests at 80% of net assets in municipal fixed income investments, the income from which is exempt from regular federal income taxes. It invests principally in investment grade municipal bonds of varying maturities. It limits investments in municipal bonds with the lowest investment grade rating to 15% of total assets. The fund normally limits portfolio "duration" to between three and seven years. |
