| The investment seeks long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests primarily in common stocks of non-U.S. companies. It normally invests at least 80% of net assets in the stocks of small cap companies with market capitalization no larger than the largest market capitalization of the companies included in the S&P Small Cap 600 index. The fund invests in the securities of at least five countries outside the US. There are no geographic limits on the its foreign investments, but it does not expect to invest more than 35% of assets in securities of companies based in emerging markets. |
