| The investment seeks opportunities for long-term capital growth and income. The fund primarily invests substantially all assets in common stock of large- and mid-capitalization companies in any industry. It normally invests at least 80% of assets in companies that have market capitalizations within the capitalization range of the Russell 1000 index. The management uses a value investment philosophy in selecting equity securities which is based upon the belief that, over time, a company's stock price converges with the company's true business value. |
