The fund invests normally at least 80% of assets in different U.S. securities, selected from a universe of publicly traded large-capitalization securities with characteristics similar to those comprising the Russell 1000 and the S&P 500 indices. It takes long and short positions mainly in equity securities and derivatives on those securities of companies that each have a market capitalization of at least $4 billion.
