| The investment seeks current income. The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in municipal obligations whose interest payments are excluded from gross income for federal income tax purposes and exempt from New York State and New York City personal income taxes, and not subject to the federal alternative minimum tax on individuals. It may invest up to 20% of assets in securities that pay interest subject to federal income tax. The fund may also invest in municipal obligations issued by other U.S. territories, investment grade securities, derivatives and money market funds. It is nondiversified. |
