| The investment seeks a high level of current income with capital appreciation as a secondary objective. The fund invests in a non-diversified group of low-quality, high yield corporate bonds, convertible securities and asset-backed securities. It normally invests at least 80% of net assets in corporate bonds rated Baa by Moody's or BBB by S&P or lower. The fund may also invest in corporate issues that have defaulted. While there are no restrictions on maturity, it generally holds and average maturity of less than ten years. The fund is nondiversified. |
