| The investment seeks to capital appreciation consistent with the return and risk characteristics of a diversified portfolio of hedge funds. The fund normally makes extensive use of derivative instruments, in particular futures and forward contracts on global equity and fixed-income securities, securities indices, currencies, commodities and other instruments. It generally dedicates no more than 25% of total assets to initial and variation margin payments relating to its derivative transactions. The fund normally expects to invest no less than 75% of assets in money market and other short-term, high quality securities managed by the Subadviser. |
