| The investment seeks generation and accumulations of dividend income and secondary goal is long-term capital appreciation. The fund uses its corporate structure to create dividend income by using the fund's 70% deduction from federal income taxes for dividends received. The remaining taxable income is taxed to the fund at a maximum federal tax rate of 34%. It invests substantially all of its assets in the equity securities of companies with strong balance sheets and with histories of dividend increases and companies whose earnings growth potential enhances prospects for future increases in dividend rates. |
