| The investment seeks to maximize total return, consistent with income generation and prudent investment management. The fund invests at least 80% of assets in municipal securities, including both general obligation and revenue bonds, from a diverse range of issuers. It invests the remaining assets in securities of non-municipal issuers the income from which is exempt from Federal income tax and securities which are subject to Federal income tax, including the Federal Alternative Minimum Tax. The fund may only buy securities rated investment grade by at least one major rating agency. |
