The fund normally invests at least 80% of assets in municipal investment grade securities of South Carolina and its political subdivisions that provide income exempt from both federal and South Carolina personal income tax. For temporary defensive purposes, it may increase the holdings in tax-exempt obligations other than South Carolina tax-exempt obligations to over 20% of total assets. The fund maintains an average duration of 3.5 to 8 years. It is nondiversified. |
