| The investment seeks capital appreciation, current income, and preservation of capital. The fund normally invests 60% of assets in common stocks of large, established companies as well as small to mid-size companies that are considered to have good growth potential. It invests 40% of assets in fixed income securities including U.S. government and agency securities, investment grade securities and other debt securities. Equity securities does not represent less than 25% of assets. Fixed income securities may represent as much as 75%, but not less than 25% of assets. The fund may hold a limited amount of cash. |
